The remote Nkwichi Lodge is situated on one of the most scenic areas of Lake Niassa, which is the 9th largetst lake in the world at 560 km long and 80 km wide. The Lodge has been designed to ensure comfort and privacy for its guests, hosting a maximum of 14 people at full capacity. The chalets have been tucked away in the tree line, keeping the lakeshore scenery unspoilt. The six chalets offer their own unique design and atmosphere, each featuring its own en suite bathroom which has been designed so that you can bathe outside under the tree canopy in complete privacy.

The crystal clear water of Lake Niassa offers a wealth of water based activities for guests to enjoy, from swimming to snorkelling and sailing. Safaris can also be arranged in the surround Manda Wilderness Reserve which is home to a variety of antelope species, elephants, leopards and numerous birds.

Nkwichi Lodge can be accessed by flying to Lichinga and then travelling onward by road to Cobue. From Cobue a boat transfer is done to the lodge.
