We have been advised today by CFA that the Mozambique Government has implemented a new security tax that is payable by all passengers flying out of the airports.  The new security tax will come into immediate effect and will be included in future in all tickets.

Applicable costs are as follows:

Beira, Nampula and Maputo Airport @ USD 6.44 per person (ZAR 48.30)

Vilanculos, Pemba and Quelimane @ USD 1.80 per person (ZAR 13.50)

The South African Government has also implemented a mandatory requirement regarding personal information of all passengers departing from and arriving in South Africa.  No tickets may be issued unless the airline has the following information on hand:
