Kenya Airways have announced that they will be introducing direct flights between Nairobi and Nampula Airport, Mozambique, as of the 02nd of December 2010. The current schedule is set for a return flight twice a week - Mondays and Thursdays. This routing will cut out the need to travel via Pemba or Johannesburg to access the area surrounding Ilha de Mozambique - a UNESCO Heritage Site.
This is great news for clients flying in via Niarobi to the north of Mozambique as well as for clients who would like combine a Kenyan Safari, or similar, with a beach extension to the beautiful and remote white sandy beaches of northern Mozambique.
